BIOGRAPHY

Tom Iandolo is a New York based trumpet player and audio engineer. After starting to play at age nine, he found a deep love and appreciation for jazz in his teens, and pursued music along with technology into college. There he branched out to playing not only jazz, but classical, blues, rock and R&B. After four years of college, he graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Sound Recording Technology. He has not only the technical aptitude required of the industry, but also the musical skill required of a professional performer. 

Born and raised in New York, Tom Iandolo started his journey in music from a young age. Starting with trumpet at age nine, he slowly developed a greater appreciation and love for music as he grew. 

 

Classically trained, he quickly developed a love for jazz music and pursued that after high school. In college, he studied under many professional trumpet players and continued studying jazz, as well as blues, rock and R&B. While in college, he also studied audio engineering and learned the art of recording. He then spent six months in New York City pursuing both music and audio. He studied under Scott Wendholt, and played with a host of musicians at jam sessions in Greenwich, namely Cody Moffett and Johnny O'Neil. While in Manhattan, he interned at Waterline and at Soundtrack Studios, assisting Mark DeSimone.

Tom has a Bachelors of Music in Sound Recording Technology. Presently, Tom is a freelance engineer and musician based in New York.
